Meet the ReadMaster Team
We are a group of teachers currently working in UK primary who commit time to ensuring the resources provided on the ReadMaster website are quality first, fit for purpose and full of variety. In addition we have a team of remote workers who act as finance controllers and administrators.
I’m Debra, from St Francis Catholic Primary School and am proud to be part of ReadMaster’s team. I’ve been teaching since 2006 and have taught all primary year groups.
I was lucky enough to have a love of reading from an early age fuelling my passion to support others.
I am a mummy to 3 children and in my spare time…well actually no, I have no spare time but I love baking and singing (usually at the same time!)
My passion is reading and I love discovering new books to recommend to my pupils.
Hi, I’m Andrea! I am currently Assistant Headteacher at a school in Wigan. I have been an English Co-ordinator for most of my teaching career and my teaching experience is mainly KS2, primarily in Upper Key Stage 2.
I absolutely love books and have enjoyed volunteering with the ReadMaster Team in the early stages of its inception! It is a pleasure seeing the development of teaching resources for teachers by teachers in an area of the curriculum that is often quite tricky for all of us.
Hi I’m Kala! I have been a teacher for over 15 years! I have mostly Upper KS2 classroom practice experience of which I have loved working in year 6 the most. I stepped straight out of the classroom into the role of a Primary Consultant in 2018 and have not stopped since.
I am the proud owner of ReadMaster which I developed to target pedagogical practice using research-driven explicit teaching.
It has been a pleasure watching ReadMaster grow from strength to strength while working with a wonderful team of committed teachers to develop the site’s resources.
Hi, I’m Nathaniel! I am an administrative assistant (and son of the owner) for ReadMaster. I ensure all things run smoothly on the tech side of things while also assisting with graphic designing and resource layout!
Hi, I’m Sarah! I am the Senior Administrator for ReadMaster. I handle finance, subscriptions and general admin enquiries related to the site and any CPD offered by ReadMaster!
I am an ex-year 6 teacher who now enjoys working from home and raising my rambunctious toddler, Eva.
